• Current Courses: ECE435, Network Engineering. This course focuses on the engineering aspects of data networks including physical media and interconnections, signals and noise, modulation, multiplexing, frame and packet transmission, routing, network design and network management.
• Current Project: Developing an effective University-level Systems Administration education program.
• Other interests include: Network Communications, Distributed and Cluster Computing, Unix Internals, Simulations, High Speed Computing, and Parallel Processing. Check out the UMaine Advanced Computing Research Lab for information on our research project.
• Personal interests include Solar Power Satellites and fixing old cars.
• Member of the League of Professional System Administrators (LOPSA).
• Liaison between the University of Maine community and the Usenix Association and the System Administrators Guild.
