Personal Details

Don Strong is an Energy Engineer with the State of Maine Department of Economic and Community Development Office. He currently supervises the energy audit program which serves small business in the state. He also works closely with the University of Maine Industrial Assessment Center. He has been assisting with program management since 1994. Before joining the staff of Maine DECD, Don served as a Project Engineer for Environmental Investments of Bangor, Maine. In that role, he completed the design, executionn and supervision of specialized environmental services. Before that, he was employed as a Machine Design Engineer with DYCO of Berwick, PA. Don also served for four years in the United States Marine Corps as a Flight Mechanic from 1980-1984.
