April 1995-Present	University of Maine - Industrial Assessment Center ( UM-IAC ), Orono ME
			Student Auditor responsible for the following work assignments
			· Generated cover letters and information packets sent to perspective clients.

			· Assisted the IAC director and staff in performing onsite evaluation of

			 compressed air, fan, boiler, lighting, and other manufacturing systems.
			· Generated Assessment Recommendations (ARs), which are 

			 detailed energy or waste saving reports, identified from 
			 on site evaluations.
			· Generated facility drawings and system schematics using AutoCad.

			· Edited student ARs as well as final reports.

			· Assisted the IAC director in training of new student auditors.

			· Assembled final reports sent to client companies.

			
September 1996-Present	University of Maine - Mechanical Engineering Technology 
			Senior Design Project
			· Performed patent search using computer software to locate and evaluate 				 currently available products. Performed library research on applicable safety 			 regulations and human factors.

			· Conducted interviews of expected user population to determine important 				 features. Brainstormed several design solutions.

			· Built and evaluated a mockup of most promising design. 

			· Performed all required design calculations and generated detailed drawings 				 of proposed design.
